Photo class - day one

Fabulous bakery in Yountville, CA

The class has started and I'm pretty excited to get on with it. I'm not going to give specific course details (except for a link to the "description") because I don't want to violate the terms of use for the class. Since I paid a fee and so did the other participants it wouldn't be appropriate to give an of the lesson details. So....I what will I be doing? I'm planning to journal my progress and post any photos I think are worth a look. Mostly, this journal will be my diary of the class experience.

The first audio and text cover logistics and basics of how the class will progress. My goal is to absorb as much of this instructor's information as possible and incorporate it into my mind and eye when I'm out and about with my camera.

No photo assignments yet but I've been playing with photo effect "60's retro" on photo above.

I've been looking and waiting for a link to your first class, and must have overlooked this link, which is really obvious, now that I've found it! Sorry. Love this picture--great shot. Not sure what the 50's retro effect is, unless it's the white border around the pic. I think I remember all pictures having a white border back then. Can't wait to see more of your shots! :)
